Room Service + Fotos

Chad Riley, and Mike Jones are two of my best friends. We recently spent an un-namable amount of money at the Sunset Towers in Hollywood while Chad was staying there for work. We had the best time ever, followed up by Mike's car getting towed and a couple hours of waiting outside the tow yard in the rain. But besides, that, we ordered everything on the menu - I'm talking $50 steaks, and Ahi Tuna Tartare that would make your head fall off. If you have a strong stomach, check this one out too. It's chad's brand scar which reads SickYO! Enjoy.

Raging With the B's and C's + Fotos

Got a call from Brooke last minute to shoot some pics for an event. Got a little tipsy with the B's and C's of Hollywood - REAL Hollywood. Hahah, pardon the oxymoron. Here's a little taste of what went down. And I just saw a couple of these on Wire Image. People gankin' my steez (as Sterling might say).

San Diego on a Bike + Fotos

How would you like to ride your bike to San Diego, sleep on the ground next to your bike freezing cold, and then go back in the morning? Sounds fun right? Well, according to these photos, it was. I remember it a bit different than this though. All these photos were taken while riding my bike except the ones at the campground. Hmm, maybe it was fun.

Mercury Retrograde

Legend has it that right now is "mercury retrograde" meaning that everything is all f-ed up. Supposedly, things breakdown, and communication gets lost. I have no idea about planets or stars or astrology, but at least it provides an excuse for my broken collar bone, my dog getting attacked in the park the point of almost getting killed, my laundry machine breaking, my bike getting the shit kicked out of it, my living situation becoming compromised, and my rear-veiw mirrors getting re-knocked off my car all within the narrow window of mercury's retro-activity.

I honestly don't take that too seriously. I'm under the persuasion that I have more influence over what's going on in my life - call me naive. But think about your life right now, are things going awry? If so, now you have something to blame it on. And the best part, is that you are blaming planets that are in space. Space son. That's the best thing to blame your problems on. Who knows, maybe they are to blame.

I went up to Santa Barbara this last weekend and had dinner with Austin and Dara to find out the gender of their little one. They wanted it to be a suprise too, so they had the nurse write down the sex on a piece of paper and they didn't look at it. They this is what happened.

Adult Situations

Adult Situations is a film that I worked on as the DP (along with Adam Bricker) that is finally being released into festivals and on DVD. DVD's available soon for you guys that wanted to see it. It's a comedy/mockumentary about the behind-the-scenes goings on in the adult film industry. Really wish there was a trailer online Jay - AHEM!

VD Downtown + Fotos

Beto drove up from Costa Mesa yesterday for Valentine's Day. In remembrance of all the dates gone wrong, money ill-spent, and plastic chocolate usually associated with the holiday, we broke into a building, too photos on the roof, and just meandered around the dead-body-district of downtown. More to come. Oh, and I got a new lens which is why all my pictures look photoshopped/motion blurred. My apologies to anyone who has a lensbaby and thinks I'm "overdoing it."

Frustration + Footage

Jeremy and I went on a mission to get a couple tricks.  I just got my new lens in the mail, and really wanted to shoot something that could test it's accuracy and response to light.  We went to a spot that I had never been to, but since having gone there, I've seen it in magazines and random ads galore.  Chris Pastras has a trick on the wallride, and Daniel Shimizu has some tricks at that spot. Anyway, we were so determined to get these tricks - here's what we got instead.

I check The Berrics everyday for updates, sick video, and just entertainment in general. Never thought I'd see this. I sent in a photo of myself proving that I went to see There Will Be Blood and won a copy of Steve Berra's Skate Book. Needless to say, I'm amped.

adidas - 1979 + Teaser

adidas has done it again. They've released one of the sickest shoes I have ever seen. Sterling and I went to the grand opening of what is called the 1979 - an adidas re-release of the "Top Ten" B-Ball shoe that hit the scene in the late 70's. Created by Undefeated/Estevan Oriol in an attempt to supersede any pre-existing colabs. Interviews with Estevan Oriol, Mr. Cartoon, Danny Trejo, and much more. All coming soon, here's a snippet.

Feeeble + Footage

Jeremy is really good at the feeble grind. He kills it. Here's some footage taken from the new feeble TF in Burbank. Three round metal rails grabbed our attention as we were driving by. Even though I couldn't do a nose slide, Jeremy killed it. Dirty lenses, slamming into fences, and blocking a nice parking spot - still not the best spot in Burbs.

Game of SK8 + Footage

Jeremy and I went up to a school in Burbank where there's a real mellow bank ramp to do tricks into. We decided to play a little game of SKATE, which - for those of you who don't skateboard - is sort of a game of HORSE for skateboard tricks instead of B-Ball skills. For every trick you don't land, you get a letter. I feel like I'm over explaining this. Anyway, let's see who takes home the gold medallion. (Talkin bout crazy cool medallions)
